Lawn Mowing & Edging

A lawn only looks after itself for about a week. We mow, edge along the paths, driveway and beds, whipper snip the corners the mower cannot reach, and blow the concrete clean before we leave. Book it once, or set a regular run and stop thinking about it.

The work

What the job covers.

Regular or one-off mowing with clean edges along paths, driveways and garden beds, whipper snipping where the mower cannot reach, and a full blow-down before we leave.

Homes and rentals across Happy Valley and the southern suburbs that want the lawn kept tidy without spending the weekend on it.

Questions

Asked about mowing.

How often should the lawn be mowed?

Through the growing season most lawns want a mow every week or two, and it stretches out over winter. We will tell you straight what your lawn needs and set visits to match.

Do you take the clippings away?

Yes. Clippings and snipped growth are loaded out and taken away as part of the job. If you would rather keep them for the compost, say so when we quote it.

Can I book a one-off mow?

Yes, one-offs are welcome. A lawn that has had a while between cuts takes longer than a regular visit, so we quote it after a look rather than guess.

Do I need to be home when you come?

No. As long as we can get into the yard and any pets are secured, the work gets done without you there. We let you know when it is done.

What happens if it rains on the day?

If the lawn is too wet to mow without tearing it up we rebook, usually within a few days. Better a day late than a lawn chewed up.
